Porsche wins manufacturer, team and driver titles in North America
Stuttgart. Porsche has secured all championship titles in the fiercely contested GTLM class at the final round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Road Atlanta (USA). At the ten-hour race in Georgia, the two Porsche 911 RSR decked out in the Coca-Cola design notched up positions five and six.The Porsche works drivers Earl Bamber (New Zealand) and Laurens Vanthoor (Belgium) are the new drivers’ champions of the North American endurance series. The squad fielding the No. 912 Porsche 911 RSR also claimed the team title. The driver colleagues in the No. 911 sister car, Patrick Pilet (France) and Nick Tandy (Great Britain), concluded the season in second place.
